I can understand how Ikaruga feels. Being the only person within a group that does not like your partner's work is a painful feeling, especially when you are outnumbered by the rest of the people who like it. But I don't think Ikaruga should necessarily force himself to like it, rather force himself to believe that it is a good piece and just bcs you don't like it doesn't mean you are the problem, its just different tastes.
Also, the mystery continues, but I have my suspects.
